*Please Note* The ratings given to the technical categories (the 3 star ratings) have no merit because I am not in the technical field. I cannot give an accurate rating, high or low, on those items, however this ratings system does not give me the option to omit rating a category.
Without a technical background, the web portal is of very little use. They do not have information on either the backup size or how much we are being charged for the service. This is basic information that should be easily accessible to the customer. The invoices we receive also do not give a detailed description of services provided or the amount of backup storage used by each of our clients.
Our customer service representative has taken months to get back to me on billing and backup questions. Their lack of response has also frustrated our customers, which negatively affects the reputation of our company. Again, I cannot speak to the backup service itself; however, the poor customer service and billing practices make the service not worth using for our company.
In summary, I would not recommend Backup Technology to a friend.
