I have used Dropbox for about 7 months now. Four days ago, for no apparent reason (I had enough space), files were removed from my dropbox and I was removed as a sharer of folders, including a folder that I created. Despite my repeated attempts to contact Dropbox, I have yet to receive even an acknowledgement of my request for technical assistance.

I am in the process of investigating other options and intend to leave Dropbox as soon as I can.

In summary, I would not recommend DropBox to a friend.
