We used Livedrive for 6 months as a business. Not only could we not get onto Livedrive most times, but it lost about a THIRD of our files. Backup? What back up?! They promised back up, but then couldn't answer what happened to the files. They said they weren't saved there, because it would be in the back up. We couldn't switch off of there fast enough. The company is based over seas and does not take phone calls. Submit a ticket and they email you a day to two days later that they received a ticket. A week goes by and they say they couldn't get in touch with you so they dropped the ticket. Really?! You can't even get in touch with them, to tell them they suck.

In summary, I would not recommend Live Drive to a friend.

What LiveDrive can do is excellent! The way it carries this out is NOT.
As a business we have had many issues with files not being uploaded and getting stuck! Their servers and databases always having issues and having downtime, and their security is very questionable indeed.

For a business, this is a big no no.

I am looking for alternatives that offer the same enterprise level folder synchronisation and folder/file sharing, but one that actually works!

I also believe they limit the speed of upload to their servers, quite often seeing very low bandwidth throttling.

Their support is utter rubbish. You have to phone the sales line now, just to get a hold of someone to talk to.

You have been warned.

In summary, I would not recommend Live Drive to a friend.
