iBackup's business can be summed up with two words: OVERAGE FEES!

Just canceled my "9.95" 50GB subscription after being charged $189!!! Just for one month! ***Quota overages are charged at the rate of $2.00 per gigabyte!!***
And the crazy part is I was only backing up about 20GB, but they told me that as you create/delete/modify files they don't sync and simply create new files on the ibackup server so you have to actively maintain all the thousands of duplicate files created on their servers! This amounts to an excessive waste of time and contradicts the exact reason one would purchase such a service in the first place, convenience/low cost. To maintain would be significantly more work than backing up the files yourself. When I called the billing department they acted as if my complaint was routine and were completely apathetic as they recited what seemed like a scripted and familiar response of how I should of read the fine print and I was neglectful of the maintenance of my account and when I asked for a refund or even a partial refund off the egregious fees, I was told there was nothing they could do. When I said I would like to cancel my account I was promptly directed to their website and the call was abruptly ended without any attempt reconcile the account and keep me as a customer.

Their business appears to be for OVERAGE FEES!
HORRIBLE customer service! Not service oriented but rather like the big banks, FEE driven.

Business model = UNSCRUPULOUS

In summary, I would not recommend iBackup to a friend.
